About us

Establishment - Objectives as a Church

Peniel Free Pentecostal Church (PFPC) Inc. main objectives are:

1. Advance the Kingdom of God.

    • To preach and propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Great Biblical Commission of Jesus Christ and uphold practice and promote the Pentecostal faith and doctrine (Matthew 28:19 - 20 Mark.16:15) and, having a Universal (international) vision, the church is the foundation of ministry and testimony.
    • To be the Light of God and to encourage the broken-heart by testifying and manifesting the Love and Glory of God and to set captives free from the bondage of fear and other devil bondage through prayers and other Biblical spiritual means accordingly (Isaiah 60:1-2)
    • To promote the knowledge of God in peoples' lives through Christ who is the Truth, the Life and the Resurrection , to teach publicly the Gospel of Jesus and to establish the Five-fold Ministry of Jesus (Ephesians 4:11-12).
    • To do not impede the free flow of the Spiritual Gifts and to deploy the assets and properties of Peniel Free Pentecostal Church (PFPC) in the extension and advancement of the Work and Kingdom of God (1 Cor. 12:4-11)
    • To introduce viable projects which may support the Church and bring up progressive demands of the membership.

2. Advance Social and Community Welfare (Matthew 25, 34-40; James 1, 27).

  • Establish the Peniel Social & Community Services (PSCS) to provide and undertake Social and Community Support Services to advance Social and Community Welfare. Working hand in hand with local, state and federal governments, social organisations and other no-governmental organisations provide facilities and social programs to include relief services, education and information, ease settlement, Family support, Youth and Children support, single parents assistance, families’ strong relationship, rehabilitation and other service camps to persons in needs. (Matthew 25:34-40; James 1, 27)

Confessional standards

    • Peniel Free Pentecostal Church (PFPC) agrees with Pentecostal church standards and doctrines with reference to gifts of the Holy Spirit as ensured by Jesus-Christ who is the master and as spiritual body of Christ, the church aspiring to work toward holiness of the believers (1Cor 12, 4-7; Rom 12, 4-5; Eph 2, 17-18; Eph 4, 23-24)

Statement of Faith

    • We believe in One True God who created Heavens and earths and all the Universe seen and unseen (Isaiah 44, 24; Genesis 1, 1-28).
    • We believe in God the Father, full of love and mercy whose plan is that "All shall be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2, 4)
    • We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Living God; He existed before all things were created; He is Lord, Saviour and God; He was the Word, the Word who was with God, and the Word who was God. We believe that all things were made through and for Jesus Christ; that without Him nothing was made (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-17);
    • We believe that Jesus Christ took after our human nature and became flesh through the power of the Holy Spirit in fulfilment of Scripture for the redemption of sins of the world and salvation of all mankind through His sacrificial and vicarious death on the Cross. (Matthew 1:21- 23; John 1:29)
    • We believe that Jesus Christ died sacrificially on the Cross, was buried and rose on the third day from the dead; that he ascended into Heaven and is seated in the Glory on the right hand of the Father; that He is ministering to His flock from the Holy of Holies from whence He will come again in fulfilment of the Word of God  (Matthew 27:27-28);
    • We believe that Salvation is only through the Name of Jesus Christ, and is secured by professed Faith in that Name, and upon the Blood of Jesus Christ washing away sins from a repentant heart and a contrite spirit; that salvation is not a religion, but a Universal manifestation of Jesus indwelling the congregation of born-again and Spirit-filled believers comprising the body of Christ, and constituting the Church which is built on the foundation of the Apostles and the Prophets; that Jesus Christ Himself is the Head and Chief corner-stone. (Acts 4:12; John 3:18, 36; Romans 10:10);
    • We believe in The Holy Spirit who was and is with the Father and the Son. We believe that Holy Spirit came down and filled the apostles on the day of Pentecost. We believe that the Holy Spirit continues to do the same work today among those who receive the Lord Jesus Christ to be in-dwelt by Him, by convicting souls and leading them to conversion and salvation through Christ. (Acts 2:38-39). We believe in the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:14 as manifested in the early church and among believers.
    • We believe that the Bible is the written and inspired Word of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness and for encouragement. (2 Timothy 3:16 - 17);
    • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation, with the Scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; Gal 3:14-15);
    • We believe in the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:14 as manifested in the early church;
    • We believe in the universality of the Church of Christ built upon the Spirit of Christ and comprising Spirit-filled believers, and the unity of the church that stands for Christian values and principles which is true repentance and water baptism which stands for burial with Christ according to the gospel of Jesus Christ (Rom 6:3-4);
    • We also believe that in case of more than one local church, each local Church under Penile Free Pentecostal Church (PFPC) shall be self-governing under the Official and spiritual guidance of an elders' Committee  according to Biblical Principles, (Act 20:28; 1 Pet 5:1-3);
    • We believe in the healing of the body by Divine power, or Divine healing in its varied aspects as practiced in the early Church (Acts 4:30; Rom 8:11; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14);
    • We believe in the reality and personality of the Devil and eternal judgement in the lake of fire for the Devil and his angels (Math 25:41; Rev. 20:14,15);
    • We believe in eternal life for believers (John 5:24; 3:16), and eternal punishment for the unbelievers (Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thess 1:9; Rev. 20:10-15)
    • We believe that marriage is a holy union of a man and woman according to scriptures stated that “a man shall leave his father and mother and unite with his wife, and the two will  become one flesh, so they are no longer two but one” (Mark 10, 7-8)
    • We believe that the powers that we are ordained as ministers of God are for good (Rom 13:1-4);
